Prompt Ideas

The Ideas feature on the Prompts page uses AI to suggest new prompts you should be tracking. It's like having an AI research assistant that understands your brand and market.

Accessing Ideas

At the bottom of your Prompts page, you'll see an expandable Ideas section. Click to expand it.

The Ideas section shows AI-generated prompt suggestions that you haven't added yet. Each suggestion includes:

• The prompt text
• Intent badge (Discovery, Comparison, Reputation, etc.)
• A reason why it's relevant to your brand

Three modes of Ideas

1. Brand mode (default)

Brand mode generates prompts based on your brand's profile - your name, description, industry, and website content.

These are broad suggestions covering different angles:

• Discovery prompts for your category
• Comparison prompts with competitors
• Reputation prompts about your brand
• Educational prompts in your space

Best for: Getting started, expanding coverage broadly.

2. Tag expansion mode

Select an existing tag to generate prompts similar to what you already have.

For example, if you have a "pricing" tag with 5 prompts, tag expansion will suggest 10 more pricing-related prompts that complement what you're already tracking.

Best for: Going deeper on a specific topic or angle.

3. Keyword mode

Enter any keyword or phrase to generate prompts around that topic.

Type "enterprise features" and get prompts about enterprise use cases for your brand. Type "customer support" and get prompts about support quality, response times, etc.

Best for: Exploring specific topics or angles you want to investigate.

Working with suggestions

Adding a single suggestion

Click the + button on any suggestion row. The prompt is instantly added to your active prompts.

Bulk adding

Select multiple suggestions (checkboxes), then click Add Selected to add them all at once.

Dismissing suggestions

If a suggestion isn't relevant, click Dismiss. It won't appear again.

Regenerating

Click Regenerate to get fresh suggestions. This replaces the current suggestions with new ones.

Intent badges

Each suggestion includes an intent badge indicating the type of prompt:

A good prompt mix covers all intents.

Tips for getting better suggestions

Fill out your brand profile completely. The better Trakkr understands your brand, the better the suggestions.

Add competitors. Comparison prompt suggestions need to know who you compete with.

Use tag expansion for depth. Once you have a few prompts tagged by topic, tag expansion becomes very powerful.

Try specific keywords. Instead of broad terms, try specific features, use cases, or customer segments.
